Beast Advice!

Hi everyone!

I decided to try out Beast but I been told they DON'T make good Force(fortechers) >.<
Is this true?
Will I always be unwanted and "Gimp"?
I have a Newman force lv 17 but I really like the idea of Beast.

They make good Fortetechers if you know what you're doing. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif I started off as a beast Force on day one and moved up to Fortetecher as soon as it was available. Yeah, I've got low TP and MST, but I still manage. And to be honest, I don't think I've ever had anyone complain about my abilities to kill and support during missions.

Depends, beast were meant to have high ATP rather than MST or Tech.
Beasts were more of a Fighter type rather than casting.
But being a FO-Beast has an advantage over Newmn. They have more HP and DVP, sp they can last longer in a fight, but there Tech power is lower than a Newmans.

For example, a LV100 male newman at LV10 Fortetecher has 1699 TP, while a male beast at the same character and type levels would have 1092. Pulled from Amesani's stat calculator (http://www.amesani.org/psu/enbeta/charstatus/calc.php?type=1), so these are the new values after today's stat updates.

Hmm thats a Big diffrence....
would that hugely affect my spells?

It'll have a decent effect, though I couldn't give you exact numbers.

A beast fortetecher isn't too bad, but a beast wartecher would be alot better.
