Update on 360: Sadly I cant play 360 because of 3 red rings, but I have found someone to take my place! Sychosis has agreed to help take my place on the 360 for the gathering. More Details to come!


In celebration of the end up of the 1UP cup and the oncoming holiday, I decided to try to get a start on the monthly Meet & Greets. Its a bit short notice, but future ones will be planned ahead of time. The plan for this Meet-up is to gather more footage for a video I am putting together, and I need a good turn out the club to do some recording.

Canadian Thanksgiving is on the second monday in October if I recall and the American Thanksgiving is on the fourth Thrusday.

Times are not final yet. I wasn't sure about an evening time so I put 6 PM as a temporary time.

The other time I had in mind was 8 PM. Would that work better for more people?

the funny thing is that the first thanksgiving in history was in october, not november.

Also, many people were acting "what the point of this meeting was" and well I suppose I didn't really say much. The purpose of these Meet & Greets are just as the name suggests: to meet new or meet up with friends and communicate with them. Too many times we lost contact with people because we are too focused with missions. I don't want this meet-ups to seem like "meetings" where you just come in, sit down, and act like a robot. I want people to interact with each other and talk. I do expect it to get hectic at points, but I will do my best to calm it down. After everyone gets all the talking out of their systems, I do ask that you listen up to what I say and cooperate with me so that I can get things on the agenda done whether is be screenshots, video, or event.
