They're annoying anyway. >_> Not to mention most of them look downright silly.

Take her scapes.

ShinMaruku
Nov 17, 2007, 03:55 PM
She does it herself, she needs no scapes, scapes are what people made to imitate her.

Tact

Just trap her in a tank of water and she wouldn't be able to use her fire powers. Problem solved.

ShinMaruku
Nov 17, 2007, 04:00 PM
Water is hydrogen and oxygen, extremely flammable, she controls atoms, she can separate water

Superheroes are overpowered. >_> That's all I have to say.

Weeaboolits

Superheroes are broken to the point of not being interesting, true story. ._.

Tact
Nov 17, 2007, 04:06 PM
Almost all superheroes are, even for superheroes.

I mean, the Flash being able to run incredibly freaking fast is okay, because it's his only real superpower. Batman's gadgets are okay, because he has to be smart enough to use them in the right time and place. But when you get into multiple superpowers like Superman, who flies, has super strength, and has X-ray and heat vision, that's overpowered.

TalHex

and that is why i put my money in antiheroes, every hit they land on a super hero is like a return investment http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I know that. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif I've said before that I'm no big fan of superheroes, and I'm going to use it as my explanation as to why I'm wrong about them.

But yeah, trust me about one thing: Having the powers of God doesn't mean a character is uninteresting. Superman may have every power under the sun but he's still had some amazing stories told. Superman: Red Son, Emperor Joker, The Death of Superman, and Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? were all fun and enjoyable.

I'll agree with you on that third one.

The Flash can kill Superman, but his powers have a catch.

The Flash is so incredibly broken I'm suprised he doesn't handle everything by himself.

Yeah, well, watching him die once shows that he's not truly invincible (you know, aside from the whole Kryptonite thing).

What difference does it make? In nearly all the stories I'd mentioned his powers and invincibility were not the focus of the story. As a matter of fact, his power meant nothing in Emperor Joker.

Hey Hat, stop failing.

Superman and the Flash make JLA redundant, however they do not use their powers to the fullest, thus they are in the team.

You're on a website dedicated to two games that nobody has ever heard of. You also operate a website of your own. You have no place calling anybody a nerd. Thank you for the lovely flame-bait.

Too much something in FKL makes something something.

Applies to that other thread too.

Again with the "I read your posts and laugh at chu" nonsense.

Leave it nubz. Quit flaming/flamebaiting

Locked.
