I loved Pso and from what I have seen psu looks like a great game. I have played a game like this and I like it, but I am not sure if I can get online to play this. So witch leaves with me only offline. So, should I get this game even know I will proably not get to go online?

oh whoops i press yes before i read that u cant go online.

sorry offline is terrible. most people dont like it.

It hardly has any content as well :/

if u cant get online i dont think you'd be pleased as it is able less than half of the actual game :/

and very quiet since theres no one to play with http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Oh God, you'll be in so much pain... unless you're a fan of masochism, do not get this for offline-only.

And who the hell voted "yes"?! YOU'RE SICK!!!

lots of people voted yes- they probably didn't read the part about not being able to play ONLINE... I like the offline mode, but I can only take it for an hour at a time before I have to go online!!!

It has cost money to play PSO/U online ever since V2 came out for Dreamcast and you suddenly had to buy a hunters license. But seriously, if you think $10 a month is something to complain over, then you definitely shouldn't get online. Not meant to be a slam, it's just- a lot of people talk themselves into buying things they can't afford, and really if you have to think about it, you probably can't afford it.

Well, 120 dollers a year is alot. Because, People do not just step there and play psu online every day of there lifes. What about you dont play for a day because you are busy like I am most of the time. It should be like 200 hours of online for 10 dollers. It should not count the days you are not online.

Umm, I hit post once and it posted like 5 times. Weird....

also... it's only about 33 cents a day. if you can save 2 quarters a day, you will have enough for this with a little left over. haha

definitely quoted instead of editing >_>

Yes, because while, granted, it's more fun online, offline mode isn't really as bad as some of these people lead you to believe. I do agree that you should get AoI if you're getting the game for PC/PS2, though.

For someone who doesn't work, I suppose. You seem new to the MMO community, so take heed. PSU is one of the most laid back, easy to start, cheap P2P RPG I've ever played. I've been to the hell hole that is WoW and I never want to go back.

I only have 199 hours on my character, after 6 months on the 360 version... Oh sure, it would be cool to have it priced by the time you actually use it, but there aren't a lot of things that are priced like that. I never use my home phone, but I have to pay for it anyway, not just pay for what I use.

I've gone months at a time without playing, and i still pay for it, because everytime I think about cancelling, I start playing again, and think "nah..." Actually, since both Laguna and I play, we pay $240 a year for it... plus xbox live subscriptions... If I broke it down, gaming would be about 40% of the money we spend yearly, food 40%, car/phone payments 10% and clothes/toys for Squall 10%... it's just what your priorities are...
