For the first time ever, I got online. I liked what I see. Why'd I mention that? It's a good lead into my story!
Anyway, I find this nice person. Twice my level, Japanese. I ask her (assuming her gender in real life matches her characters gender) if she'd like to go on adventure with me. So I form a team, she joins. Then this guy named Arin joins. Lv. 6 force he is. So I ask IVAN, the Japanese girl, where she'd like to go. She let's me choose. So me, Arin, and IVAN go on a forest run. (It takes Arin a while to reilize IVAN's Japanese and eventually has to use word select.)
Arin, right off the bat, goes right to the item boxes, break them open, and takes their sweet, juicy center. I tell him to stop hogging the items. He apologizes, while IVAN ponders over what I mean by hog.
Well, we finish the Forest run and kill the dragon, with a ranger joining us just when we're about to enter the boss warp. (IVAN's polite enough to open a Telepipe so the Ranger can catch up.)
Afterwards, Arin asks the team if we have any weapons a force can use. Being the gentleman I am, I go to the check room, drool over the attendant, and get out my 2 Mind Materials and the Draw Rod I found (as an ???? rod) in the Caves. We trade (I got about 600 Meseta in the trade), and I have to leave because my dinner has arrived.
Later, this Lv. 21 guy named Wolf comes on. He says he's Arin's bro. We eventually decide to wait for other people. (He idles by asking people "Any spare items?") In comes IVAN. It takes Wolf a while to reilize he needs to use Word Select. I start the team for them. Can't wait. Go back to the lobby. FSOD. I lose my mates, my pipe, and some other cheap junk. I get back on. They already had started the team. And this guy named Nimbus is in it. I join. All the while, Wolf keeps asking "Any spare items?" He also asks where we got out weapons.
Just to wrap things up: Before we go take on the boss, Wolf has to leave. We say buy to the (rather helpful) beggar, and take on the giant worm. Victory.
I wrapped up PSO for the day.
