well u play as your own gardain in 1p mode so is there still voice acting or is it back to lame text boxes like online?

it dose, ive seen clips on youtube and the ep2 story missions do got voice acting and bubbles text well the voices were japanesse though but i hope the english version has better voice acting cause it was terrible when i beated the single player.

I don't have high hopes for the English voice acting. You know, not that I play PC/PS2, but it'll probably be on par with Episode 1's acting.

Hm, Laia with Laharl's VA... Actually, what would be fun is if she were played by Maula Gale (the voice of Fortune in Metal Gear Solid 2). ^_^ I could see that being real hilarious during the whole "Beast women are the best!" bit in the first chapter. :D

In all seriousness, though, it's likely one of Sega's internal VAs, like in the first game. >.> (I only WISH they would outsource the voiceovers to Bang Zoom or any of the related recording studios, those guys are made of win and awesome, and I've bought a few games JUST because of a specific VA.) Sega's internal pool is okay... but a lot of them could use more training.
