Imagine you're me; 15, hates school, loves PSO, has no keyboard.
Imagine ordering from Buyrite to get your order cancelled, then imagine ordering from toynjoys only to hear they have about a 2 month back-order.
Now imagine we see a keyboard on ebay that is ready to buy for $150, or bid on a few others that still have a while till the auction is over.
Imagine being so desperate we buy it for $150...so desperate infact that our father tells us that we must make high honor roll--do more around the house, and put more time into studies before PSO--if we fail to comply, PSO will be thrown away.
Imagine that I gave into this deal with the devil (I did) and now a KB is FINALLY on its way...
Think it was worth it?

Ouch. Well, as long as you can make the honor roll and such, then sure, it's definitely worth it. But DEAR GOD, make sure you study!!! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif I always hated school (and always WILL) too, but if it means the death of PSO... straight A's for me, then! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_hamster.gif

In your quest for a keyboard, you signed a pact with the devil, aka your father. If you can't make the high demands given to you, your PSO days are over.
You've either just indirectly had your copy of PSO thrown away, or you've set yourself up to be made do better.
Goodluck, but I would'nt have went that far. o_O
I'd rather have PSO and no keyboard than a keyboard and no PSO.

My dad's one of the few rich people in Montana...I guess you could say he wants me to succeed...but I sometimes think he takes things to far.
I had to sign a contract (that I created) just to get PSO, on the contract he made me write I had to get a B in every class or better, or PSO would be taken. That quarter I did get a C in science class, but he didnt take away PSO.
Perhaps he just wants me to try harder?

I hope you're joking. Otherwise, you got scammed. They're selling for $90 at japanvideogames.com.

Meh..I'd never pay over $50 for a keyboard. It's just not reasonable to me. There's only one person I really want to chat with on PSO and I have gotten rather used to using the on-screen keyboard. Sure it's troublesome, but there will be a U.S. keyboard eventually. It may take a while, but I'd rather wait then cough up that much cash.
...
man, you guys are really going to be kicking yourselves 2 months down the road when you're the only ones still playing the game. At least I got a few months use out of mine, and for a lot cheaper too.

Naw that isn't something I would do for first and for most I wouldn't buy a keyboard unless I was guranteed for online play (money to back me up for payments and BBA). Secondly, high honor roll and help more around the house? Jeez I never been on the high honor roll (well just honor roll but not up there with the smart people) and I'm like one of the laziest people in my family. Lasty I don't usually buy my stuff on the internet most of the time.
I have some nerves of steel patience in me so I could wait for a good "offical" keyboard to come out. So I wouldn't make the deal with the devil. Hope you like a life without a soul http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_bondage.gif

I also am extremely lazy, and DO make low honor roll. I seriously hate school to the extent where study periods over an hour bore me. High honor roll I might have to actually try now.
My dad was a 4.0 all through high school--he also went to college for 4 years...He's lazy too.

If I did that my PSO would be GONE! I'm sure I failed my semester test in my English class, I couldn't answer half of the questions. Granted I am only in 10th grade and that class is college level, it still sux! Ah well, at least its weighted, so that C will count for 3/D will count for 2, wheichever I end up with.

I'm sorry, anything over 100$ is simply gawdawful.
c'mon guys, just have some patience. These companies are going to be laughing their asses off once these things become common to find.
Just wait. The softkeyboard is bad, but 50$ + for a damn prehiphrial is simply absurd.

I thought about buying a keyboard a while back, but you know what, I got a serious problem about being ripped-off.
Player with keyboards are still a part of the minority, so, it's not like you're missing much. The way I see it, having a keyboard when the majority of the people you play with don't, is just as bad as not having one and playing with people that do have one.

I lied.
> Everybody
I was gonna order one today, but thanks to some of these posts I'm not. It's $89.99 on japanvideogames.com, and with shipping that'd be near or over $100. Meh, Ripoff. (Seeing as the beginning sellers were $50-60, and the price gets raised by like $10 every month. -_-)
*should've ordered one back when I imported JP PSO*

BAHAHAHAHA, I couldn't tell ya if it was worth it or not, I haven't been online yet =/. Anywho, I hate skool too bro, although I'm only in for 5 more months. I think I failed english this quarter. I didn't do a research paper, and my teacher said we couldn't pass if we didn't get a good grade on it. I'ma try to prove her wrong...

hm... i think 60 $ are a reasonable price for the ascii-one since you get both a keyboard and a controller with it (although you dont have to use the second one ^-^;) and since controllpads arent cheap either... well...
so 60 $ original price + some profit + shipping... well... sums up to... around 80$ - i wouldnt pay more, but then again, i dont have to ^_^;

There is nothing wrong with striving for 4.0, even if you don't get it. If you get over 3.0-3.5 instead, the fact that you targeted 4.0 has made you better.
