View Full Version : So with the elemental changes... Tero/Guard > Mega/Rainbow?

Since, unless I'm mistaken, the elemental percentages apply only to the armor's DFP, not your own, correct? I know that I was taking more damage from the same enemies with the same armor before and after the content patch, at least. :| Would this allude to the fact that maybe /Guard units are finally viable now since elemental percent isn't that great outside of for MST?

Not sure about Tero, but I know Orpad / Guard kicks the rainbows' ass

Well yeah, but Orpad/Guard is A) rare as all hell, and B) requires an S-rank armor. I can't use the S-rank armor that I wanna use (Rabol Lebfa), so I'm stuck with A-ranks for now (Rabol Asted).

Orpad/Guard FTW. One of the few people that got it to drop from the moatoob 3rd set of boxes.

Orpa-senba isn't appealing in the slightest, nope. The EVP is atrocious.

oh, one thing I forgot to mention...
The percent of rainbow applies to both MST and DFP, so depends... maybe you want that MST boost too

Well, and I still rock my Tero/Rainbow when I need it, but I've been noticing that I like my Tero/Legs a lot more, and the physical difference is..... well, almost nonexistant. XD

I love evasion, reason I went out and bought a lebfa instead of an orpa, miss my giga/stamina but I think its worth it, sucks the only available s-rank armor with an extra slot is fortegunner only.
