In my opinion you should be a HUmar. They are pretty strong and look cool. They also are a well balanced character type sense they can use a few techniques as well.

FOmar, of course. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif Are you new to PSO, by chance? Is so, I'd probably go with... HUnewearl or HUmar, probably. HUcast and HUcaseal don't get techs, and it's incredibly helpful to learn how to use techniques.
I dislike HUmars myself, so I'd personally go with one of the other HU classes. That's just me though; a LARGE portion of others use HUmar so they can't be THAT bad. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I began as a RA on version 1 and I don't regret it. I recommend a RA and HU about equally for a beginning character. Do yourself a favor and DON'T make a FO, at least until you've raised a character up enough to support that FO with lots of money. Trust me on that. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

RAmar. An awesome character and good for newbies.

HUmar or HUnewearl. Good characters for beginners. I started with a HUcast and now it's in me blood; I just can't get used to using techs. Well, I can but at times it seems too much trouble.

If you're new, then, yeah, I'd have to recommend a HUmar or HUnewearl.

However, if you want some stategy in your game that allows you to have the most powerful character in the game, use a FOnewearl. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

If you want a nice challenge, a FO is the way to GO. Just hope that other players will be willing to loan you money for fluids, constantly. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif FO's magic is pretty devestating early on, but man, are they expensive to use.

Personally, I don't find Forces as hard to play. They're the only thing I've played though, so I couldn't reccommend it over something else. I've also not gotten far into the game. I'm taking my time. I'm level 20 and I'm in the caves. I've had 2 FOmarls and a FOmar who I'm using now. They're pretty easy for me, and I'm not spending too much on my TP either. I guess it depends on your skill and your patience.

Being lvl 20 and in the caves isn't exactly a good thing. My lvl 16 HUcast can get to Dark Falz (beting him is a different story). FO's are incredibly hard to play compared to other classes. You just must be incredibly patient.

I would go with a HU or a RA. FOs are tough to start out as. And HUs can really lay down a beating early.

for a good start, use a hunter... HUmar or HUnewearl - since both can pretty much use most of the stuff you'll find...
or you go with a HUcast and trade in the tech-feature to traps and trap-seeing. not a bad deal considering trap-refill comes with level-ups, healrings and visits at the hospital.

when you got to v-hard or so, or feel you got the flow in the game, start a force or ranger, depending on your likes/dislikes in: techs, traps, range-weapons, melee-battle (if you like melee, stay with a hunter ^_^)

good luck on your choice
