Confession time.

So, I was hunting for a Gudda Skela for a couple days and was getting discouraged since it wasn't dropping. So I started Desert Terror S2 and forgot to lock the game which resulted in a random player joining the game. I didn't really care at the time so I kept going. Then, a Skela board dropped from the first Jishagara I killed. Panic arose within me. Loot was set to random and I didn't know and haven't spoken to the player who joined. Then... I kicked him/her from the party and grabbed the board... ._.

I felt really bad about it so I went outside right away to apologize. The player was nice about it and said if I wanted it that bad he/she would have given it to me. Even though she said it was fine, I still can't shake this feeling of guiltiness since this was all my fault for not locking the game.

Has anyone done this or have this done to you?

I've been kicked out of a party before, but I don't know the reason behind it.

And as long as you know what you did was wrong and apologized, it's cool. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Since you apologized you shouldn't worry about it

You got a[b]Gudda Skela?! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

You have to live with it. If it really was direct after the player joined, I think it's ok.
And you regret it, so yeah. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

EDIT: The guy that posted after me is smart, too. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

personally if you forgot to lock the game i would have asked to leave when they first joined, and tell them you forgot to lock it. and then if they dont leave boot them.

The game was supposed to be locked, and it was set to...random???

After the recent update, the item distribution settings are random by default.

It defaults to random now. I never change it if I'm going solo, which is what I'm guessing he did. He just forgot to lock. XD

It's happened to me once or twice and no, I don't kick. About half the time the item indeed has gone to the person who just joined, but alas, that's life. If you're so obsessed over rares that you'll stoop to something you'll feel guilty over later, I suggest you turn off the console and get yourself therapy.

I've never actually had that happen to me and I've never done it before either, but..I say as long you have apologized and the person said it was fine, then there's nothing to be shaky about http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I was playing Elements of Unrest A with two random people with items on Set in Order. I opened up the box and saw a [B] Tesbra. I stood over that thing for at least half a minute while the other two were opening the outer boxes.

I picked it up and it went to the friggin' Fighgunner. I was the leader and could have booted them...why did I have to be nice? ;_;

im generous about things anyway if its something that i dont need ill just give it away i think if everyone started doin this it would create a much nicer climate to play within but storage is a what stops it

I may have done something wrong but I don't think it warrants a visit to a therapist... I'm not particularly so obsessed with rares that I will sell my soul for them, but finding them is a part of this game I play for.

Only a professional can tell you if it warrants a visit to said professional. Now go!

If you really want that particular rare, there is no shame or harm in asking the receiver if they'd be willing to part with it in any way. Just be prepared to respect their wishes if they don't.

And how does feeling guilty about being rude warrant going to see a professional? It's called being empathetic, which isn't a bad thing.

I actually applaud the fact you felt bad and went to apologise. Good job.

I was booted from a party once because this new techer insisted on buffing everone with her lvl 11+ buffs over my 21+ buffs. She kept on doing it. I was pissed.

i wouldn't even sweat it bro you did said you were sorry to that person so theirs no reason why you should feel bad about booting that person sense he/she understood why you booted that person and didnt get upset your one of the very few people that has a heart to admit his wrongs and that is something that i can respect about you http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

You did the work, you deserve the spoils. You talked to them and apologized. There's not much more you can do.
