New Quests

Well, ST seems to have a brain fart for quest ideas these days, so maybe we can help them out.

This thread is dedicated to ideas for upcoming quests or ones you would like to see. Here's a few of my ideas...

-A quest where Rico or Tyrell accompany you.

-One where you and 3 friends battle actual NPC characters...(similar to offline) maybe they're dark falz enthusiasts or rioters (?)

-A quest involving driving/operating a vehicle.

-Imagine a quest where the medics are short-handed, so you have to work as a med by fetching items and performing multiple button patterns to save peoples' lifes. (Similar to the Shenmue QTE's)

-Remember the Rappy Festival? Bring that back!

-How bout a quest involving something "illegal?"..maybe a quest where you play as a thief in the lockers..and you have to avoid the check ladys to recieve a rare!

-Hell, even if we get some fetch-quests that's fine with me!! The ideas are endless...P2 is short on fuel...people need food...people want a rappy for a pet...

maybe like a follow up to Soul of Steel quest where maybe you have to go to ragol to find parts for ult to fix her where you get multiple npcs like you did in that one.
ummm lets see more quests where you get strange looking npcs like you did in that quest sonic knuckles and tails and stuff like the samba marraccas quest where you get free rares and like a quest that i forgot but i dont care but you get the chameleon scythe and the one where you warped to another room for your prizes if this is all the same quest excuse me but i havent played dc quests forever, it was a dl quest neway.

They need to bring back the Soul Blade, Endless Nightmare, Mop-Up and Towards the Future quests.

famitsu cup! that was even better than endless nightmare or heat sword or any other quests like that. it doesn't have to be famitsu cup this time though, just some kind of "hunter's challenge" quest.

i also liked towards the future. and all of the endless nightmare, mop-up, and other retrieval quests. maybe make some episode 2 retrieval quests where you go through the CCA.

oh, and why not one where someone (Olga? Vol Opt?) is hacking into the VR area and you have to defeat it in VR Temple/Spaceship? that might be a little cheesy, but i liked the beat-the-boss quests online.

there could be an episode 2 quest where you have to kill 3 or 4 gi gues, gibbles and mericarols in a set time limit, too.

Something like the old DC quest where you had to get CDs to play music? Like in the Fake in Yellow, the music when you find the chao! I loved that music so much! And it's not under the BMGs under options! *sob*

Rappy's Holiday (not Festival) was chock-full of mini-games. You could go to Forest 2 and fight if you got a quest item from the hide and seek Rappies (or from another quest Garon's Treachery). The mini-games included grabbing glowing balls of light as they fell from the sky, a timed button response race, a guess-the-jackpot, a response time measurement where you had to press the button to stop at the right point, and a memory game where you had to seek out specific Rappies (by name) in a certain order. Each game gave points and you used those points to play the games. When you returned to Pioneer 2 your character would have an aura based on how many points you had. This quest (along with Garon's Treachery) was the only way to earn a Heart of Poumn in ver.2.

The Famitsu Cup -Maximum Attack- was a timed quest where you had to basically kill everything. It spanned Forest 2, Cave 3, and Mine 2. The true goal of this quest was to find the Bronze Badges hidden away within each of the areas. If you killed enough enemies (I think it was 500) you unlocked an extra area that had a few more badges. You could then talk to an NPC and exchange 3 Bronze Badges for 1 Silver, 3 Silver for 1 Gold, and 3 Gold for one of three weapons: Toy Hammer, Chameleon Scythe, or Samba Maracas.

Towards the Future was the big boss battle bash. You started in Forest 2, then fought the Dragon. Next was Cave 3, then fought De Rol Le. Next was Mine 2, then fought Vol Opt. Lastly was Ruins 3, then finally Dark Falz. Depending on the difficulty, time taken, enemies killed, and amount of deaths amongst teammates you'd earn a rank and a prize. For Very-Hard S or SS-rank you could choose Nei's Claw or an Egg Blaster. For Ultimate S or SS-rank you could choose between Drill Punch, Flight Fan, Maser Beam, or Plantain Fan. SS-rank and maximum kills gave you the choice of a Yamigarasu or Plantain Huge Fan. SS-rank and minimum kills gave you the choice of a Ano Rifle or Blue Ring. I may have the Plantain Huge Fan and Ano Rifle backwards. It's been so long I can't quite remember.

I'd personally like to see Towards the Future return, as well as a Towards the Future II for episode 2.

ooo ok i remember fam cup and ttf but not festival i had 2 of each from fam cup and never got better than an a in ttf damn those were the days
