I was just wondering as a friend of mine here in the UK did'nt want to import(like I did... hope to recieve soon.... videogamesplus... anyone had any dealings with this company? They come recommended but I'm impatient and WANT that damn game!)... actually the game will cost £29.99 when it comes out here and it cost £32 with all post from videogamesplus so for the extra £2... it saves me the petrol money even going to town to buy it.

So anyway, hes 'cool' with torrenting it until it becomes available in the UK...(I know... sigh).

I was speaking with someone and they said that the Japanese version was key protected... is this true?

If it is I'm just gonna be LOL.

The Japanese version of AoI is key-protected. Of course, the original Japanese version of PSU had one too.

Yes but you need to solve a riddle in order to get your unique key. Sonic Team you crazy bitches!

Man, I swear, as soon as the game comes out (tomorrow or Wednesday?), someone should just make a thread that gives us a big fat yes or no in large, bolded font and sticky it.

So I guess it's on the fence if it's going to have a key or not...

Non-Japanese versions won't have a cd-key lol.

"If it has a CD-key, I'm going to torrent the game".

That's the reason people ask this question. >_>

so far for the US/UK we don't know if AoI has a cd key, but in about 16+ hours we will

In time, for the purposes of illegal copying, having a key or not will be academic.... keygens and all.

Maybe I am too attracted to sparklies/shinies/other goodies. But I usually go and buy stuff boxed rather than torrent things because I want the box/cd/manual art :>

As for asking if there will be a cd key or not, It IS a valid question since some households would have more than one person playing PSU in that household. Thus you run into separate accounts. Which would mean the difference between buying one copy for everyone in the household to use, or buying one copy for each of those individuals.
