PSU-XBox 360: What will you do as AoI downloads

Because this is going to be a big download, and Microsoft usually caps download speeds to 1.5Mbps, I am wondering what everyone will be doing while the expantion downloads?

Me, for example, unless I get a call today telling me I got a job (wish me luck I need money) I'll probibly be listening to the Halo 3 soundtrack which comes out the same day.

Sorry to inform you that "playing vanilla PSU" won't be an option. The DL will become available at the same time the server goes down for the update, that is, 2 AM PST, and the update won't be done until at least 6 AM PST. So you'll have the DL done way before the servers are back up.

I plan on either watching the movie I'll rent with the spare points (I bought 2000), or I will be playing Carcasonne. Man, but that game is addictive.

Well, that option is more for the people who won't start downloading until after the update (Not all of us feel like waking up when the servers will go down just to start downloading some expansion) And yes, that game is addicting.

just don't choose any online modes or else your download gets cancelled.

I've never been as excited to play a non-online game like Super Mario Galaxy since Pokemon Pearl (possibly even back to Kingdom Hearts 2). As far as my opinion goes, SMG is like the best thing to ever happen to platformers.

Its really not even the best 3D Mario game. The level design is decent but some levels are seriously repetitive and tedious. Bouncing from small planet to small planet in an extremely linear level is simply not as fun as the big open worlds of Mario 64 or Sunshine. Also, the camera is frustratingly fixed half the time. Enough nitpicking though, its still quite fun. Also, I thought actually getting the mail was a neat touch.

You can play it, just not online. PSU has an offline story mode, and an extra mode, in case you forgot.
