It appears this expansion is not yet detected by the original PSU; however, SEGA is expected to release a title update at the end of the maintenance that will apply the expansion to the game.

Not sure, honestly... I'm always alseep during maint but from what I'm told maint is usually like 3 hours. Then again, This is a very large update, so, maybe abit longer.

I really dont think we will get more achievements.All the achievements in PSU are offline only.And with the expansion on 360 all added content is online only.

For Title Screen, good news, there will be a new screen and likely a new movie, here is the boot process:

On starting the game, you will be asked whether to start AOTI or PSU. If you choose AOTI, you will launch the online game client and be presented with a new title screen and, I suspect, a new movie.

Good! This means that the Title Update is finally rolling out. It should hit everyone eventually. (If this is anything like the update for Crackdown that fixed the Halo 3 Beta downloading glitch...) Don't be suprised if you aren't prompted to download an update at first. Just be patient! Imo, if the update is going out now, it probably means that the 360 Servers are about to go back up. I doubt they'd release the update if they weren't close to finishing the server update.

That is very strange. Right now, this is shows up for me when I try to log in:
"The connection to the Phantasy Star
Universe Server has timed out.

Your current session has ended."
(This is the normal message that everyone should be getting until the 360 servers are back online btw.)

I didn't see anyone mention this yet, but my gamerscore for PSU now shows 1000/1250 points... meaning that there's 250 achievement points on AoI.

You need to download the AoI downloadable content from live. Then after you have that, when you start PSU you should get a microsoft update, that only takes a few seconds to complete. Apparently people are having a problem getting this microsoft update however, so just keep trying. Then when you're at the press start screen, it will as if you want to switch over to AoI.

The only reason to play offline (Vanilla or AotI) is to try out things not yet available in online mode. But we'll be getting the new PAs pretty soon anyway so its not really a big deal.
