Problems with new room features?

Is anybody else having problems getting the new stuff to work? I ran the room tutorial, and it even mentioned that I should be able to manage my room decorations by talking to my PM, but when I talk to it, I get the exact same features that were a part of the original PSU.

Do I have to use a remodel ticket to get it to work, or what? Especially considering the instructions for the custom greeting feature for the shop stated that it was done when the shop was opened.

I believe you have to have buy an AoI remodel ticket to get it to work.
