Yep, that information is actually pretty old. But the flinching helps when doing regular runs.

Use a Tenora weapon, if possible, for the lower PP regen rate, and you'll be fine.

As for the flinching, pin the Vahra into a corner.

It's not fixed, it's just a little harder to pull off.
