View Full Version : Walker Line = Boost? Where?

Well, I got a neutral Walker Line from a friend and I tested it, and I see no difference. (Used with 50% Lightning Nightwalker on AMF Headquarters 2)

Is there a noticeable boost or should I test it somewhere else?

Nightwalker atp is probably too low to get a decent boost from.

Is there even supposed to be a set between the two? Does the description for the armor say anything about working with a certain weapon?

The new PSU "perfect" bible comes out soon. Hopefully that'll shed some light on what sets exist now and what bonuses they give.

The description reads 'A super high-end line shield developed for night combat by advanced users'. Night _ walker, I guess.

Not being a fighgunner, I thought at first it would let you see in the dark or something. Oh well, that would've been cooler.

Maybe there is a set bonus but it only works at night (in real life), or in missions where its night out? Doubtful but you never know...

If it did have a set, wouldn't there be "Goes well with a certain doublesaber" added?

Crimson + Crimson Line doesn't mention anything about working with a 'certain' weapon, yet that still has a Boost http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

True, I'll have to try this out. Perhaps the bonus could be a bit more useful if you used Gravity Dance since it has more hits. POSSIBLY then the small difference would add up, but I doubt it. Just use JA http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I think Sonic Team was trying to be funny, and it didn't quite work out.

If there isn't a set bonus, then I wonder if the description actually means something, or is just useless, like with most items.

Not all the time. Reiha-Senba gives a boost to the Reiharod. Ageha-Senba boosts the Ageha-Kikami. The name similarities give it away.

Well after further testing, I see no justifiable reason to use it. Not a big enough boost, so I shall depart with my 30% Light Walker Line.

Wouldn't it be easier to see a difference in power by using a PA that does bigger numbers? Small boost wouldn't really be noticeable on Gravity dance until the last hit, but Spiral and Tornado are stronger so a difference in ATP would be more easily visible.

I get a 50% boost on Roundhouse Kicks when using this armor.
