So I bought some Oberto beef jerky, says it's Habanero flavor. WHAT A COMPLETE LIE. If anything, the jerky is sweet, for god sakes. SWEET! WHY THE FUCK IS MAH JERKY SWEET? The only slight hint of any spicyness is an extremely mild after taste. They really let me down, WAY TO GO OBERTO!

What's more, I bought 2 bags of the stuff (quarter pound a peice.) I'll probably still eat the damn stuff because it's jerky, but damnit, HOW DARE THEY TREAD UPON ONE OF THE MOST MANLIEST OF SNACKS!

kinda hard since we don't live on a ranch (though I had an uncle that did, and he would send me the fresh stuff.) Luckily my dad hunts, and owns a dehydrator. He recently won a lottery for some awesome hunting grounds, already shot a few deer (1 buck and 2 does I think, still has more does on his ticket, only alwoed one buck though.) Venison jerky should be made at some point.

I have yet to try the stuff, my dad and gramps have had it, but I have yet to. I want to try it at some point, along with snake.

Ostrich does taste pretty close to beef, so yeah, dry it out!

I have to try ostrich at one point. They sold some in Arizona when I went there, along with sample of deer.
