PSU-PC: AoI did indeed come out today

East coast - I just picked up mine at 1 PM today, they were still unpacking their shipment and I had to wait around for 10 minutes before they found it.

P.S. - I just looked at the manual, which is only like 18 pages of actual info, all of it that I saw is stuff you should already know (how to create a character, log in, use your common box, equip weapons, the difference between left and right handed weapons http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif, things like that). I think someone was asking for a scan of it yesterday, there's nothing useful here.

nice. people actually have the game now. I so wish that I could drive to providence to get my copy and then drive back to new york to play it. Then again, that'd be pretty obsessive now wouldn't it?

The answer is a very unsurprising no. The game does not come with a serial number - simply pop in the disk, install, and run.

Oddly enough though I was turning my firewall off and left the window open so that it wouldn't bark at me through the updates, and in the middle of typing in my username Gameguard reported that there was hacking detected. OMG WTF, LOL. I closed everything on my desktop including the firewall and ran it again and it's working now, not sure what really triggered it though.

In other news, they changed the loading animation between areas to this ugly/boring looking thing.
