well this is it folks, until Xbox version that is. I was just doing a simple xfer with my FOmar was about t reset my system because of over use of materials. when my brother turned the power out in my room because he's fixing uor basement and was triggering the main breaker of the house. My room was zapped, and my gamecube had turned off and made a spark sound along with my television. Unfortuantly, now i don't have a GameCube. My Tv works, but my cube was fried. How? I don't understand. and it's pissing me off terribly. Right when i finally finish c7 too. I'm not going to be returning to PSO until Xbox version unless i can somehow fix my gamecube. My warrenty on the cube is up because it's been 8 months since it's purchase.

I'm sorry to all those who i'll be leaving behind, and especially to snapple since i still have his mag. Hopefully we can' meet on the Xbox version =(.

what realy bites on my part is i just ordered the damned keyboard >

I believe "power supply boxamajig" means the GC's AC power cord itself (not the electrical outlet). It does have that "boxamajig" on it.

well i'm assuming that the gc internal power supply was probbaly shocked since i saw a small BLue spark on the side of it, (when im looking at tv i see the side of the cube because of room setup. and towards the back end neard the power supply input through the fan whoels was where i saw a faint small spark. = wtf IM GOING TO KILL MY BROTHER NOW

well i am selling my keyboard thats fuor sure. however the only hope i have now is to order the screw driver from NCSX to open up gamecube, because well i don't have more than 35$ to blow on more system hardware. 10 to the screwdriver...and well hopefuly it's jsut the powersupply or something because my brother has helped me fix my dc's like that before....(prays) i haev to sell my kb tho if it isn't the opwer supply. i just rush ordered the screw driver...i'll be taking apart my gc tomarrow. and blenjar whats ur aim so we can chat, i've been asking ppl if they need a gc keyboard. it'll eb roughly 80$ (that is with shipping estimated) actual kb only cost 62.99 i gaurentee the cheapest u'lll find.

Don't need of a screw driver... Just take a plastic pen, emblaze it with a lighter, and quickly pop it into the screw. It will take its shape... Well... this used to work for me, when online shops didn't even exist. u.u;;;

Hey X930, don't give up yet! Call Nintendo (can get their number from their website) and give them the seriel number on your cube. You may still be under warrenty. My cube died during christmas, and I thought I wasn't under warrenty. But when I checked, I found out I had till the 7th of january. And I bought my system in January 2002. So.... It is still worth a try. All you gotta do is talk to a customer service rep, and give them your cube's seriel. They run it through the system and can find out if you are past warrenty. Then all you gotta do is find and go to the Nintendo Repair Center (they all over), and then Nintendo usually justs sends you a new cube, free of charge.

hold on ton your horses. I cancled the order of the stupid gamecube screw driver thx to neko. i just melted a pen into the slots for the nails of the gc. i will be opening up this weekend with my brother to find out whats wrong, he just told me he'll be here friday afternoon to help. if we can't simply fix it, he said he will loan the me the cash to buy another, but i'll have to pay him back >_<. I've decided to go for it too since i have about 3 unplayed gc games i still want...and hopefuyll more to come. all should be well ni a few days, and i'm not sure if i'll be selling my KB now...so just hold tight. and pray for me =

Before you open it up, you should call nintendo. If it is still under warrenty, then opening it up will void any said warrenty. If it is under warrenty and they will replace for free... then that could suck. Like I said, mine died almost 11 months after I bought it, and I was able to replace it.

I'll be getting Xbox pso either way. And i've decided to get another gamecube. I am going to call nintendo just for that purpose, but im pretty sure when my cube is about 4-5 months over it's warrenty.

It is, unless you pay for the 1 year program. Different stores offered different repair service plans. Mine was only 8 months because for a year it was 60$ and for the extra 8 months it was only 20. Actually it IS coming out. Set date as of now is March 4th. Its all up to sony whenever they decide to hand us over the hard disc drive for the ps2. Otherwise wait til the PC version.
