AotI-XBox 360: The best way two get Par Ebon

I am haveing troble getting Par Ebon does any one know how 2 get it or if any one has any for sale under 4k me know

ok first use proper english.
then do any mission on parum on S rank. you will find a lot.
then use the shop search function in the game and set the max price to 4k and type in the name and you'll probably find a shop, don't ask here we aren't gonna do your work for you.
if that fails, do what remedy said, buy it from the npc.

oh and if you have a lot of par ASH you can buy a wood B<A converter and turn 5 par ashes to 1 par ebon.t his way is cheapest and if you already have a bunch of ashes you should be able to do this really fast.

Mad Creatures S2 and break all the haystacks

You can try running missions in Parum if you are a high level; such as Mad Creatures S2 (I only get this as a source of information so don't take it to heart) and Plain Overlords. Usually where there are alot of Vahras or haystacks (you get par woods from there so I guess you must get par ebons as well); you'll probably be lucky doing Lab Recovery as well. At least you can get these items for free but perhaps you were probably looking for a more time efficient option.

If you are out of time and just have enough money; try searching the player shops using that new search system and see what you come up with (since I'm recovering our gamertag I don't know exactly how this works so...). Last time I played, I found Par Ebon for 2K but things could have changed since then so...I hope this helped you.

I've been searching neu ebon, so I feel your pain looking for it under 4k. If you do a search for neu ebon under 4k, not one shows up. They're closer to 11k. It makes me want to go to each and every room and write something on their bulletin board, but I don't feel like wasting my time because of THEIR problems.

I think the idea of making your own is the best way to go for lower leveled people, S runs in parum for higher... The 1 up cup was great for ebon on C ranks, though!

Whether you are on ps2/pc or X360, the only methods are:


buy it at NPC shops
buy it at Player shops
collect lots of Par Wood, use Wood conv. C to B, then use Wood conv. B to A with the Par Ash
collect lots of Par Ash and use the Wood conv. B to A
collect Par Ebon through tons of missions


To find Par Wood:
-150 meseta each at Guardian's Colony or Parum

To find Par Ash:
-1000 meseta each at Guardian's Colony or Parum
-500 meseta for the Wood conv. C to B board (require 5 pieces of Par Wood per synth.; can synth. 50 pieces max.)

To find Par Ebon:
-4000 meseta each at Guardian's Colony or Parum
-2000 meseta for the Wood conv. B to A board (require 5 pieces of Par Ash per synth.; can synth. 50 pieces max.)

On a side note, synthesis is NOT always the cheapest method.

Par Ash - NPC = 1000 meseta
Par Ash - Synth. = (150x5)+(500/10) = 800 meseta

Par Ebon - NPC = 4000 meseta
Par Ebon - Synth. = (800x5)+(2000/10) = 4200 meseta
Par Ebon - Synth. = (1000x5)+(2000/10) = 5200 meseta

Mad Beast S2 drops a serious TON of Par Ebon. You could get up to 10+ per run

You can get about 6 Par ebons by just running into the mission, breaking a couple of haystacks and restarting, no fighting nessacary (sp?)
