I haven't had a chance to get AoI yet but I'll answer what I know from other posts, etc.

1. I imagine it just depends on whether you want to start with a powerful character or a brand new. It's based on your own preferences.

2. Don't know. Hope so.

3. I seriously doubt it. I don't think Sega wants a lawsuit on their hands.

4. From what I hear, yes.

5. Nope. Probably not much.

In regards to 3...

Wasn't this the name of a certain entity from Phantasy Star II? Isn't there just a little bit of a chance that it could make a showing here in some way or another?

1) If you transfer a character to AoI, all his/her levels, items, etc. will be retained.

2) No idea.

3) No. Mother Brain was originally a boss in Phantasy Star 2 for Sega Genesis. And she looks nothing like the one in said NES game.

4) I don't know what all is available offline, but I did find a few Crea Doubles boards today.

5) Nope. Sorry.
