Beats were designed by Swatch as a universal internet time measurement. There's 1000 beats to every 24 hours. Midnight Grenwich Mean Time (0 GMT) is 000 beats, noon being 500 beats. Real time of 86.4 seconds (1.44 minutes or 1 minute and 26.4 seconds) equals 1 beat.

There is a bunch of freeware apps that will display .beat time on your computer screen next to your normal time. Try looking on versiontracker.com

Most of 'em will also allow you to convert 24h time to beats and back. But of course, you can slso use the calculator on PSOW.

I still can't seem to figure this out without a beat calculator.
