All I've done is LOST the pieces I bet with. I can't seem to get a handle on roulette.

How the hell do you get 14 gold... Is roulette rigged to work in players favor? I havn't really bet anything but is there some sort of a pattern or atleast a way to be right more often then wrong? If it was real roulette the house should have an advantage meaning everyone should lose money.

Your best words so far and have answered your own question.Only bet on the inner ring of the roulette and you have about a 2/3 shot at winning with same payout as the 50/50.Make sure to place two bets on seperate places on the inner ring and your set.

Umm that didn't make any sense you mean bet on the 1-12 and 13-24 spots? that still be around a 64-65% chance of winning one of them and to only triple my money that was on that part and lose the other. all in all it would aeverage out to around a 97-98% chance to break even so in the long run I'd lose money. That is if this is actually real roulette thats why I was asking is if there is a pattern to change what im betting on depending on what came up last that allows you to win a good number of times.

If Sega's using truly random numbers, there's no surefire way to consistently win at roulette (Vegas would never run it otherwise). It's the 0 that ruins all those carefully plotted percentages.

I don't see why Sega wouldn't use truly random numbers- it's not like they'd get any benefit from rigging the game. So roulette remains a luck-based game.

Wow, I just have horrible luck on roulette.. Previous four numbers were red, so I dropped my silver on black.. It popped up red.. So, with five numbers going to red already, Everyone in my party bet on black... and it went to red again.. So with the high improbability of that, we left, cursing the casino!

if roulette has the same rules as here ie same payouts, and same stuff you can bet on, most people, most of the time will lose. you figure even though one person may be winning, that means others are losing.

It's 50% every time, so it is still a fair possibility.

Not really luck. Here are some tips:
1) NEVER bet all! Nothing is certain.
2) I recomend only betting red or black. Not high payout, but not risky.
3) Don't bet on the same one too many times in a row.

Say you have 1 S. Bet only 20 B max. When you get that, you can bet another 20B. Then bet 40B. Then stay around 40-50B untill you get to 15 - 20 S. Then you can start betting 1-5 S. Then when you get to 60-70S, bet up to 10S. When you get to 100S (1 g) start betting 20S untill about 250-300 S, then bet 1G. It should only take you about an hour to an hour and a half to get to King chair level. After about 8G, feel free to bet as much gold as you want. (BUT NOT ALL) Keep at least 2. That way, if you lose the bet, you still have two G. Then only bet 1G max. If you lose that, go back to betting 20S. I'll be in the Casino in uni 1 tonight, being a holy god again. It was so funny, everyone in the casino was betting on what I was betting on. There were like, 2 people on the other color.

Well, I hope I made sense to at least one person. /:

I appreciate your helpfulness.
I have only one question.
Is it me, or does a single color dominate too much? I've seen strings of reds, and then strings of black right after.

Something that I find with random numbers from computers, is that there are definite patterns that pop up. If you're adept at high-complexity algorithms, then you can probably watch the roulette wheel for a while, work out how the pattern works. Then you'd be able to predict the result, bet everything you've got, and win every time. The trouble is that you'd need a Ph.D. in mathematics and a Mensa-level IQ to be able to pull this off. Anyone with that kind of talent, skill and propensity simply isn't playing PSU.

Actually, there are patterns. Computers can't compute random numbers, so if you made a long enough spreadsheet, you could get a math-problem to determine what to bet on. It would be really long and complex though, because you have the problem of it picking a different pattern every time it hits a certain number.
