What is with this huge amount of ppl who suffer from file corruption?

It only happened to me once, and that was back in V2, due to a faulty VMU.

And yes, I guess at the time that was somewhat of a mini-tragedy. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I've never had a character corrupt, but I doubt I'd just stop playing because of it.

I went out and laid down all the money for a Platinum GC, Wavebird, memory card an PSO Episode 1&2 all at once, so a mere file corruption would'nt have me quitting.

I might take a break from the game for abit, but I'd throw myself back into it again anyways. =)

Character corruption is easy to get around. You shouldn't leave because of that. Here's what I did when my level 20 (lol) HUmar corrupted. When the message popped up that my save was corrupted and it asked if it could delete the files, I told it no, and put in an empty memory card. So there I proceeded to put in serials and whatever, and when I got to the character select screen, I took out the blank memory card, and put in the one with the corrupted character. It then loaded the characters, and I chose my character and went into the game. Then I save and quit. I guess you could call it the 'uncorrupting character' or something lol. Oh well, I was going to try everything I could before I started over. So you people who started over and got back to your levels, you should have just thought for a minute XD
