Apparently, asking for a few million meseta or a few Diads for a weapon that's comparable to a Majimra +10 (market price: 8 million) and better than an Uransara (market price: 25 million) is way out of line. Who knew?

problem is, your not gettin near 10m fyi. your giest is grinded, urnsaras r colectible, and now grindable, and more rare. dont expect much more then a mil if that..IMO. but you could find someone who realy wants that..

Actually, I just checked the shops, and Uransaras are going for like... 25 million. Ungrinded.

Plus, S-rank grinding is ridiculously hard, and Uransara grinds like shit. I wouldn't count on getting a very high-grind one any time soon.

And besides, I don't even want 10 million for it. I've got it in my shop for 8 million right now (1/3rd the price of an ungrinded Uransara), but like I said, I'd trade it 1:1 for three Diads.

The thing is though, an Uransara doesn't sell based on its stats which is how you're justifying your price, but by its rarity and looks, which the Geist can't even touch...

And IMO, Geist looks way better than Uransara.

ok.. lets put it this way, i sold a serdote(9* grm wand)+5 for 1.8m and that was pushin the price limit. it had better stats then your geist, AND you cant buy serdote in shops, anyone can buy a geist and grind it. alos, magical wands +5, are better then you giest, but those can hardly sell for much..i suggest you lower your price if you seriusly want to sell that. i can spend les then 1m on a few giests and grinders to get a +7...only reason im sayin anything is cause some people out there are clueless of these facts and dont need their money ripped from em.

Uh... you can't buy Geists in the NPC shop. You can buy the board for it, yes, but you cannot buy the weapon.

Geist is a very ol looking item to agree with you. but in terms of cost to make, the board is 110k, and the items needed to make the item most people have piles lying around not to mention that they're easily obtainable from player shops or npc's. for 2 mil, you could have a decent line of production and in the one's that come out successful expect to get a +7 to +9. So, I wouldn't ask more than 1 mil for it, otherise there's no beneft as opposed to doing it one's self.

You're probably right in that Geists aren't worth that much but as with all the A-rank GRM wands, they look excellent and at the end of the day, its stats are as good as an unground Uransara and so it's never going to be exactly 'worthless', even if the S-rank mob aren't interested.

Nah, it's more the fact that it's me more than anything. A random poster wouldn't have their thread shitted like this, but *shrug*. Like I said, I'm using it since I've crossed over to the dark side and am using Wands and Madoogs. It goes quite well with my +9 Geist, +8 Serdote, and twin +10 Magical Wands.

The cheapest Majimra +10 is 7.5 million (and the most expensive is 13 million, but the person selling that needs to be eaten by a wild mountain lion). It also is only 9 TP stronger than the Geist I was selling (which I'm not anymore, unless this batch of Serdotes comes out and grinds well), and that will be covered with one more grind. I really don't see how this isn't worth the multi-million dollar price tag I'm putting on it, when every other comparable weapon is selling for the same or more.

Well consider this, it's a +7 A rank wand, which by any means isn't hard to get. It's commonly sold wand since it's easily attainable, and additionally A rank grinders aren't hard to come by either. I have a few +10 A rank weapons and I know how difficult it is to get it perfect, and +7 is far from difficult to attain. I currently have a Serdote, 595 TP, which I bought a few days ago for 150k, and by ur line of thinking I should have paid around 7 mil for a "commonly" dropped item? I think not.

Not to be an asshole or anything, but learn how economics work b4 you consider how to price things as "fair".

Considering mine is the only grinded Geist on the market, I think that the supply line in this case is heavily skewed in my favor. As for demand, that's outside of my control.

not to forget that grinding is horribly forgiving now. I got a arb maganac to 7/7 using only A+3's on no luck. With the odds of grinding to 5 being about 50/50, it's pretty much a solid bet that you can gring anything to atleast +6. So for easily obtainable weapons, the only ones worth anything are +9 or +10.
