PC widescreen

I heard this was going to be a part of the PC release of illuminus. I can't seem to figure out how to get it working.

Is there still no support for widescreen mode?

1280x720, it's the only supported widescreen resolution

I don't see that resolution on the list of possible options for the PC version. Is there a patch or some other way to change it to that resolution?
