AotI-XBox 360: Drops/S-ranks

I just got back into playing PSU again. I then downloaded AOI. I stopped playing PSU at firebreak. I wanted to get a new spear so I find someone's room that has 28 Mugunruk boards in their shop. So.. have the drop rates for S-ranks changed or have I been gone too long?

mugunruk was droped like candy during the 1up cup event. such as twin headed rangus, halarods, bil de axe , ect... but now thats its over, they drops rates are somewhat normal, they got a little boost in aoi, but nothing dramatic
