Is the only way to get the Twin Varistas is buying the crappy ones from the casino?

Hope so, they have a nice "future magnum" look to em, even if they're easily a less than excellent weapon.

I hope you don't mean the Casino ones, because /C weapons grind rather badly for most purposes. They gain no ATP/TP, only double the normal PP.

No, I'm talking about actual Varistas (the single ones). *shrug* I was correcting, at the least, his statement that the Varista was a poor weapon.

A Varista grinded to 3 will only be 1 ATP less than an equally grinded Python. Once you hit 5 grinds on it, it'll be 7 ATP above an equally grinded Python. At 10 grinds a Varista will be 29 ATP above an equally grinded Python.

Counting the fact that the Varista is only a 7* compared to the 9* Python, it is an extremely capable handgun.

This is the single gun by the way.

Didn't suggest it was poor, just less useful than a GRM 9* or something, but whatver; details, details.

Seems I was way off on my presumption anyway, lookin' at those grind stats.

single Varista also has over 900 PP at +10

Yes, 917 PP at +10 to be exact. It also regenerates 17 PP per tick if you're a gunner or an Acrofighter, 14 if you're a Fortefighter.
