well ya it's lunch time and it's not my style playing and eating at once, so I might as well type sumthin' in the meantime. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

Wtf happened to Guardian's Colony while I was away?! O.O it looks like its being expanded. >.>

well ya I haven't played since last year <.< but ya I'm thankful Sega didn't delete my data, that sure has given me a healthy head start. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I'm really loving the improves and massive additions that have been added and updated while I was away, this is like the best time to join/return to PSU!!! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I almost forgot how intense and gorgeous the whole experience is! and the action is sooooo jaw dropping (especially with 6 players and their insane and unique weapons, items and duds). the new levels are magnificent too!!!!! This is really the most exciting and fun combat system and multiplayer in any game IMO. ^_^ (well only found the AMF Base and that old Parum city ruins missions, they are both awesome but have yet to find the other new areas, yeah the AOI areas are yellow labeled, but I still get confused cause many areas have been added before AOI was released, and while I was away, so that = more new stuff for me to enjoy! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I finally got my first Slicer!! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif It's so lovable!!! I even bought a purple one for only 90,000, good think I wrote down the seller's name cause other people were selling basic Slicers for freaking 100,000+ meseta. sheesh I might as well make my own at that rate.
(yeah I say only cause thankfully it's a little easier making money, I salute Sega for their generosity! The experience actually feels more rewarding and fun! like real progress is being made without having to spend weeks getting one thing.

I seen people use the Whip and it's really hot. those mag type weapons look neat too! There was a SUPER KAWAII ULTRA ADORABLE MAG I saw two people use! It's the one that endlessly sprinkles these cute little marshmellow chibis of different happy colors! ^.^

those fans/cards are neat too, I only witnessed them in videos back then before the update that added them. oh ya and I did see the Sword SUV and one that like explodes everything (it wasn't the Burstroc-looking one, I think).

well ya there's so much to tell but overall this is pure awesomeness. truly worth every penny playing online. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

now I'm sorta trying to set my shopping priorities in an effective manner. so far I got the clothes I want for now, and 2 Slicers, and some dated but still neat weapons I have with me, I already unlocked the 2nd combo for Gravity Strike (3 times cooler than the normal Gravity Strike), I'm two levels away from leveling the Slicer's PA to level 11. I would think it adds an extra attack/combo at 11 like the other PAs I leveled so far.

but ya, I'm thinking if I should upgrade my armor to one that has more slots (cause I saw some cool unit that give you like this awesome aura, but there is more than one type of aura, so I dont kno what its called.).

or maybe save up for more weapons I want (I think that awesome saber I want in blue or purple is called Buccaneer but psuonline's item database doesn't seem to have images to go along with the item data (or I havent looked hard enough. oh wait!
http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/1/1077/buccaneer/

ah ha, so there are images for some, but it depends on the community to supply the images. well, it's still a useful database though. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif ),

so its hard to tell what each weapon looks like.
I wonder if there is a visual database/site out there that can supply images to help people decide and choose which ones they will want to add to their list. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif )

and surpringly I didnt meet any spammers except in two areas, but they were minor. and the community from those I met are really polite and awesome to party with!
oohhhhh~ those Rappy costume people are soooo kawaiiii!! am I crazy or do they do a "cheep" sound every step they take?!!?! *huggles pillow* http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

oh also what are the recommended settings for a mission's drops?
I would think "Set in Order" for both rares and normal items would be more fair, do you agree? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

oh and I still haven't found the casino. >.> the club/party room in GC's 3rd floor is sooo cool! I never been in there before! ^____^

ya I'm confused about the whole episode 2 mission/quest system, is there a specific order to unlock them and follow the story?

the Guardians building in Parum, there is some kind of photon mission/quest, but it's weird, it involved trading a photon fragment or whatever but I just cancelled out of it cause I didnt have one.

and there was another quest in Neudaiz but it required 4 players, we won on the second try but the Beast npc just seemed to have some simple problem that didn't seemed linked to episode 2, maybe.

ya so a little confusing but I'll figure it out. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/burger.gif

oh thanks Palrappys http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Well this game has always been addictive, and if you get bored of another game, you can always have this as your fall-back.

I dunno, Lou at the Guardians building in the Parum city just talks about some fragment thingy, so Im not sure if its something you buy or drops, etc.

Episode 2 is just like Episode 1, one chapter unlocks next one. So you must do Chapter 1 to do Chapter 2 and so on.

As for PA fragments, you have to get an S rank on a S mission to get a PA fragments (you get 2 on S2 missions). PA fragments are for special Photon Art skills that can not be acquired via shop. Thats what those Exchange missions are for on each planet (Parum for bullets, Moatoob for skills, Neudaiz for technics). You exchange a certain amount of PA fragments for a PA disk and you learn the PA after that. PA fragments are not tradable, nor are the items you get from them.

PA Fragments are obtained from getting S on an S or S2 mission. You trade them for new Photon Arts. You go to the Parum Branch for Bullets, Moatoob for Striking, and Neudaiz for TECHs.
And Episode 2 missions are found at Guardian's HQ on the 5th floor of the Colony. They get unlocked in order.

AAAAAH! I completed the offline story (I assume episode 1), on another GT. >_<

Oh great so I can't do episode 2 online without completing the offline story again, this time with this GT, huhhh?

hmmmmm. well maybe I can complete the offline story again in 1 and a 1/2 days like before. >.> but that's precious online time right there. >.< hmmmm. well I might as well...

oh wait you said episode 2 is like episode 1, where you have to complete the chapters in sequence.

but um...how do I start doing the episode 2 chapters? 5th floor GC?

No, you can play the online story even if you haven't beaten offline.

And yeah, you talk to Mina at the GC 5th floor counter.

Offline and Online are seperate.

EP2 is online, so you don't have to do EP2 offline. Either way, you will know, but do EP2 online because you have to have it completed to unlocked some things in Ep3.

oh okay, it would help though if there were big signs that told me who to talk to and where. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

Ya I'm with you man. I played PSU on the PC when it came out, but about a year ago I stopped playing the game due to internet difficulties. But now I have a PS2 and the game and I'm getting back into the online scene. And I picked the PERFECT time to come back into the game with the release of the expansion. I had no idea that they were even making an expansion until I started playing again.

I guess fate has brought me and the expansion together with this glorious reuniting hahaha. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy.
