Storage Character

One of the things in PSO that often bugs me is item limits, for the items in the bank and items you can carry. I end up having my bank at maximum, and then I have to take items out before I can put more items in. And when I played online, I often had to go and do some inventory management, because I just had too much stuff. I guess I keep more stuff than I should.

I was wondering if anybody has created a character just for storing extra items in. Items that you want to move to keep your inventory at a reasonable size. You would put the items that you won't need for a while or won't need often into this character's inventory so you have more room on your main character's inventory.

Or maybe this idea isn't useful, and it would do better to just keep less items.

First thing I did when I got PSO was making 5 storage characters. I transferred them to the temp character slots in multiplayer offline and then deleted the main characters. Then, I made my actual main characters =^_^=. As a result, I have 8 main characters and 5 storage characters, with one free temp slot to transfer between memory cards. :3

You can save three "temp" characters on each GC memory card? Are they the same as a regular character, but just for use in offline multiplayer? (Meaning they still keep all their items/inventory in tact.)

That I did not know. That would be a good way to make storage characters.

i have 3 extra characters one is a ranger so i can get the pb i want from my mags another holds nothing but mats i dont use and the other has some wepeapons for characters i dont use.

That's a really good idea. It never occured to me that you could actually do that. I never really thought about it to be honest.

I started with just three storage characters, but currently I have five of them. One is for basic weapons and level 15 & 20 spells (specifically for HUmars & RAmars and HUnewearls & RAmarls respectively). One is for special weapons. One is for armor and units. And two are stuffed with materials. I keep too much junk. Anybody want an Angry Fist or fifty? =>.>=

Usually I stick with one guy, so if I do get 200 items in my bank--I just give some stuff away to people who "need" them.

I use "Handy", my mule, to store my mats and 9stars while I'm waitng to give them away and/or trade them.

I made a storage character to make room for all the stuff I keep so I can give to my other chars or to people who have asked me to get them an item. I first created the char so I can make Satos.

Yeh i use 4 Mules, cuz my inventory is pretty much made up of Varistas,Club of Laconium, and blace dance

Ok... Lemme get this straight.

You can have the 4 Standard characters on a GC memory card, AND 3 temps? So I can have 3 more characters?! Because I thought temp characters were from a second memory card.
