AotI: what determines how fast PA's level up? and Ultimate P

do you have to finish a monster with a PA? or just hit them?

if you land all of the hits, does it increase the rate of % before it levels? or you just have to hit/damage them once with one of its hits?

also I heard of Ultimate PAs. how many PA fragments you need? I think that Guardians quest thing about PA fragments is where they are traded for ultimate PAs, so if you have enough, can you choose which weapon you want their Ultimate PA? oh ya does youtube have any Ultimate PA vids (ya I know the new weapons don't have one yet)? I saw the spear one. I wonder about the others.

Only thing that matters is the amount of hits.
You could hit all 1's, it will still level the same.

Say your PA is two hits to two targets, landing all four hits will get you full experience, however much that is. And golly, Saner, you're a newbie all over again.

its based on hits on the target not damage, thats why majjara levels so fast.....

Granted, my skill cap as a Fortetecher is LV10, but again, I wasn't using it that much. I believe the first thing I said after hitting LV10 was "This levels faster than Regrant!" or something to that extent. Which reminds me... I should work on getting the last few levels of Regrant so I can get it into the fourth tier.

Sometimes I do... For fighters at least, it's a joke. It requires at LEAST 3x as much effort to be a good gunner as it does to be a fighter.

Knuckle PAs seem to really slow down in the later levels. But even at its worst speed I wish still Rifle PAs leveled like that.

and roughly 4x more than that to get a good arsenal of TECH pa's.thank god Ive been playing this game with my force since it came out because if I were to start him over having to do all that shit over again someone would probably get kicked in the shins a few times.

the most pleasant 2 tehcs I had to level up were nosmegid and dambarta.the rest suck serious ass,with the exception of gi-tehcs,which only suck a little.all ra-types are serious WTF.megiverse sucks ass too.and it sucks becuase not all of the techs are powerful enough to justify the amount of effort it takes to level them up.thats why you dont see a lot of people using zonde and barta because they are a lot less powerful than diga and foie and take 5x the amount of time to level.why spam barta when you can use the infinitely more effeective dambarta?why use zonde when razonde does essentially the same damage and levels faster,if only slightly?they should really ahve tweaked zonde and barta's leveling patterns.

things like killer shot and megid have a right to be slow ass leveling PA's because of what power they give to the user.a gunner with killershot can solo pretty much anywhere wihtout running into a much of a problem.megid makes a forces life even easier against technic-weak machines.yak zagenga,too.the amount of damage output associated with that PA defintely is justified by the effort you put in to level it up.that PA alone gives a clear distinciton of the 2 ways to use crossbows:speed SE'ing or hard ass damage.

the rest of them,though,Im puzzled as to why they set it up to take so much effort to level them.gravity break was no cakewalk either.

hell NO rifles take the longest i think the fastest is melee PA its a few that dont count but shotgun pretty fast for gun so its twin handgun
