ok, I was in my room when I was admiring all the new looks to the rooms, when I came across this picture above my bed.

IMO it looks like the took a picture out in order to hide something but I dont know, what do you all think?

Edit* Heres a better picture of what im talking about

for the record, I have done nothing to alter the picture.

Could've just been a very sloppy composit where part was left blank to get it to fit over the entire width? After all if you look carefully the glow from the planet terminates rather badly at some vertical line too.

I know what he means, I have noticed it as well. He probably means that it looks as if there is a piece missing in the picture of Gurhal in his room. Parum, specifically. I guess it's one of those PSU mysteries...

Likewise, I haven't a clue what the OP is talking about. The lower half is a shelf, the upper half is a picture.. theres nothing peculiar about it that I can see.

Eh, nothing looks missing to me.

Oh, I see it now. Its not so much as Parum is missing, but the texture between the colony and Neudeiz is blank, like someone put that area through paint.

Look at it from left to right. See the planet? Ok, it goes like this: Moatoob > BLACK SQUARE OF EMPTYNESS > G-colony (intact) > Neudaiz
I -think- that black square -might- be what's missing

Maybe the picture was taken from Parum? Or perhaps it was just out of the shot? I mean, if you saw a picture of the Moon that didn't include the Earth, would you freak out? I think you are putting WAAAYYY too much thought into this....

Yes, that is what I mean, in the picture the order is moatoob, blank off-color spot, guardians colony, neudaiz. That blank off-color spot is what im talking about.

Not really. Maybe it's because I'm viewing this at a certain contrast setting on my monitor, but... the square is CLEARLY off-color. It's really like someone just dragged a black-grey-ish box over the picture in MS Paint or something.

Edit: And how they promoted the expansion, mistakes like these are unforgivable! D: (especially since I have that room deco up as well)

Oh. To me, the blank spot is the same color as the rest of the picture. I'm on 360 and have this room design as well. The picture does not have an off color box.

Maybe they covered up Algol!!!

Seriously look out your room window to the bottom left, that is totally Algol. It even has 3 pronounced stars representing the 3 planets. It's the Algol Easter Egg!

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing also, I wonder if it is like this on the Japanese version also.

I also took a picture of it, cropped the excess out, and adjusted the brightness and saturation so that you can clearly see the blank spot now. It is clearly a blank spot that should of had something in its place. I am guessing Parum.

It's Dark Force creeping into the solar system... now that you've noticed, we're all doomed. Good job. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Although, here's a thought (and yes, this is worth huge nerd points, but, eh http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif), which could easily be all wrong but I'll toss it out there anyway. If the solar system map is accurate, at least in the order circular of the planets, then Parum would not be the missing item in the picture.
http://www.chibiknights.com/images/pso/PSU/solar1.jpg

And even if the picture were taken from Parum, the order is still wrong.
http://www.chibiknights.com/images/pso/PSU/solar2.jpg

So, yeah, it's Dark Force and he's going to eat all of our PMs, run away!!

Nice Conspiracy theories, guys...

Umm guys... first of all if you look at the way the planets are in order when in the solar system choosing which planet to go to. parum is way over to the left anyways it is just empty space....

maybe it an ingame /spoiler deal and you have to beat the story missions to unlock it? /shrug

You guys realize that the colony is tiny and orbits around parum right? The map when you select where to go isn't accurate in the least

I have the same room theme on the ps2 and its the same way. It looks lie someone just used the cut function of paint on it.

Thqt was my thoughts too, which is why I said maybe ST is hiding something, but IDK, just a thought.

I don't really think it'd be worth it to hide some sort of special planet in a measly starting room deco myself, but that's just me.

Am I the only one who's bugged about the fact that the guardian colony is orbiting Nuda rather than Parm <<;

One of the PSU offline chapters show the planets align for the confinement system, but I can't remember the exact order they went in(and I believe it leaves out the colony).

Nobody has mentioned that the black in the picture also looks like its from the spray paint icon from MS Paint.

Maybe it's a sign that existence of Parum will come to an end.

Its namesake bit the bullet already, so I wouldn't put it past them. Parum missions could exist in some sort of VR simulator and we could all run around yelling "YOU BLEW IT UP! YOU BASTARDS!"
