AotI: I'm not understanding the whole GRM cards > Yohmei car

Everytime a discussion about cards begins, the first thing I hear is "GRM cards are way better than Yohmei". Of course this view is all based on subjective opinion, nevertheless a lot of people seem to agree with this view.

I on the other hand, do not agree nor understand the reason why GRM cards are better than Yohmei. According to their original stats, the 9* Card Regas has 29 more ATP than the 9* Mira-kikami. With that said, the Mira-kikami compensates its ATP loss with 29 more ACC over the Card Regas. Furthermore the Mira-kikami has 85 more PP than the Card Regas. Unfortunately for the Card Regas, there is nothing left to compensate for its lower PP.

At any rate, I do realize there are many players who value ATP over any stat. Nonetheless, is 29 more ATP worth losing 29 ACC and 85 PP? I certainly don't believe so.

Well, if you want to talk stats, I will put a little input.

The loss and gain between Yohmei and GRM cards are very negotiable for the fact that neither of them have large difference any stats. Cards already have very high accuracy to the point even Beast Fortetechers can land hits easily. The ATP advantage of GRM cards only adds a very small amount of damage and not enough to say GRM cards are better damage for damage. The PP difference between the two is only noticeable if you spam card constantly. Otherwise, you will hardly know the difference.

Personally, I still use Yohmei Card on my palette as well as GRM card because I see no difference between them. It really comes down to uses preference. However, I haven't seen how either of them grind, so I see if my opinion changes later.

I still use my Mira-kikami +10 because it's got a ton of PP and well... it's +10 <_<

And my secondary card is a +7, so no GRM for me. Doesn't mean they don't look cool though

My human keeps to Yohmei. The only GRM stuff he has are his Shadoogs and Crimsons. Come on Yohmei, make some S rank sabers now. >.<

well, just compensate the minor stat change based on your race, beasts need accuracy and newmans need atp. That said a previous comment mentions the acc increase is negliable. yet there will be a small increase in damage. So it all pretty much comes down to looks.

I want to be an AF for that slicer though.
