Because we as a whole only notice the bad, so when something out of the ordinary happens , and its not bad, or just more of the same, we think it's a big deal. I personally find it no big deal that we are getting the extra week, Just means less of a chance for me to get my Divine Maiden Doll from a failure, and the Shrine Maiden becoming rather pointless for 3 weeks.
