Hive clean up Ep2(Red Barrier)

I have got the path pattern down but i can't get the red barrier(in front of switch 2) to drop for more then about 2 secs after hitting the switch,I hit the switch and before i can run 2inches the barrier back up,What am i missing,and just to be sure i'm hitting the right switch where is it and when do you need to hit it?

If I remember correctly, just hit the other switch. It'll be green when you first enter the room, but stepping on it will turn it to red and keep the laser fence down.

When the swich is red the barriers up and when it's green it down but you said other switch what other switch?

There's a door in the north section of the room that's blocked by a laser fence. To the left of the door (if you're looking directly at it) there is a switch on the floor.
