AotI: Masamunera. an A rank saber that looks like an S rank

that saber is HUGE!!!! (as in length). it was like carving through the ground in the grassy parum missions. XD

but anyway it all started when by chance, I got the Board for that weapon in one of the boxes after the White Beast boss fell (well at least I think it was in one of them boss boxes, unless I got it before reaching the boss warp).

so the name made me curious. so then later I decide to fill in the ingredients and buy the rest and have my PM start synthesizing it, which I then go to do missions until about an hour and 30 minutes when it was probably done.

but it was risky cause it said there was about a 61% chance of success, which still feels like 50/50.

but I come back to find it worked! ^_^ I gave it white photons so now it's my very own Elysdeon-quality saber. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

It's very beautiful and elegant!

the white photons makes it's long magnificent blade even more pure and divine!

the handle has a really unique style to it and has like 3 orbiting parts that automatically spin around the grip. Yeah, it's a cool weapon, but not necessarily 'S-Rank' coolness...

And I like the Twin versions better, IMO.

I still prefer GRM. I can stand the dismantled-scissors look, and the stats blow the Yohmei ones away. The few extra pixels of range aren't even needed on Twin Sabers like they are for Twin Daggers.

I think I'll stick with my Creasabra... but yeah, that blade looks awesome. I made a dark one in honor of the Yamigarasu katana from PSO.

Once Yohmei made A rank sabers, I just sold all of my GRM stuff except for the S rank stuff and just kept to Yohmei. Now for Yohmei S rank sabers, and I'll never touch a GRM S rank blade ever again for Shiro Ryuu since Yohmei is more his style.

It should be noted that yohmei isn't about power..SOOO ditching GRM for yohmei might not be the best move.

Although I agree the A rank yohmei sabers look great....I hate the look of nearly everything else they make. The guns look weird...yes ALL of them, swords are iffy, spears are ok, C-B rank rods look horrible, wands are kinda meh...but thats across the board with the makers anyway, and don't even get me started on the double sabers. For the most part I either like it or I hate it on how it looks with yohmei.

I still prefur GRM for most things in the looks department.

after ep.2 i feel like boycotting GRM

The Masamunera is awesome. If you look close enough it has a katana like metal hilt piece going down the blade on the top.

I have the Twin version of them offline, and the range is awesome looking.

The Serdote brings Majimra/Uransara to shame in TP, and that's at 0/10. So there's big a difference when it comes to weapons. A yohmei twin dagger is'nt going to be better than GRM twin daggers, unless it's grinded.

(only reason I use them still is because I don't have the money for full weapon conversion. And Tenora claws do not last long with the low PP..Need 6-7 grinds)

And before anyone starts wrongfully labeling me. I'm not a 'stat whore' and I'm not elitist. I also don't kick people who use non cookie cutter stuff. And no I'm not a relative of Cherry >_>. *thinks of more possible labels* Oh and not a troll either.

The Creas look like S-ranks. Try synth yourself a Soda Crea or a Creasaud and you'll see what I mean.

The GRM saber looks like it should be a LOT bigger so it could fit in the hands of giant robots. Crimson has some cheesy fire effect. Blackheart sparkles too damn much. Yeah, I think Youmei wins in the looks department by a landslide.

Oh, and Masamunera is the 8* saber.

I prefer the color of the 7* Murasamera, but I haven't seen the 9* yet.
