you give something, based on the rarity of the item you give, your already infintesimally small chance of getting something may change.

Basically, the more valuable the item you put in, the better your chance of getting something.

7* weapons such as Durandal Replicas work well.

Also, currently, only the Mirei portrait can be obtained there.

I put in Shigga Biguls from 1up that my alt had. Put in 8 and then got the portrait.
