hunting carriguine blade

Just wondering if any1 who has hunted for them had any advice. best location and what lvl run to do, which run gave u the most carriguine spawns. thx for any help u give

AFAIK Carriguine Blades drop on any rank (so C-rank for spamability).

The quickest Carriguine that I've found is in True Darkness. He's in the room before the boss (where the 3x Gaozorans spawn) but you need 3 players (You + 2 others) to hit the switches and get into that room, sometimes it's replaced by the rare monster but it's not too often.

If you planning on soloing, I think the best place is the first hive mission. It would take about 10 minutes to get there on C for only 1 chance of getting a blade (in short a long time). The last story mission of EP 2 also has a carriguine IIRC that's not too far out. It SHOULD have the same chance of dropping a blade as other Carriguines but I've never tested it.

If all else fails, player shops (which are very high priced) are the only other source that I know of.
