Ok so i have goten tired of seeing boards and weapons for way to high prices. So i checked out psupedia and noticed a lack of one major detail ,aslo this is one i would love to see added to PSOW database(currently is no such thing on PSOW database and psupedia is hardly filled in).

Prices, hard factual numbers being crunched to show whats worth what.Thusly here we go.I went and bought several items weapons mainly and noticed this, all weapons resold at aproxamitly 6.6666666666666666666666666666667 of the purchase price(naturaly this is rounded out in some of the final figures).SO we can reverse engineer the CORRECT NPC value of items now.I am sure i am not the only one who has done this.In fact i have an inclination as to whom else may have already but some wont share.

However i will share because we need to get some things straight. So here are some numbers for you according to the games own priceing system. Some i did others were taken from psupedias own data for comparison. If you divide the buy price by the sell you will get 6.6666666666666666666666666666667 each time.(the exceptions being the shato and katsuno which have 8s at their end)

ITEM_______________SELL________________BUY
Deva-zashi________40500_______________270000
Shi-kikami________54000_______________360000
Ank Pikor_________37500_______________250000
Jitseen___________13500________________90000
Yasminakov 0002___24750_______________165000
Shato_____________25000_______________166667
katsuno-zashi_____50000_______________333334
Viper_____________40500_______________270000

Now the shato and the katsuno seem a bit off indeed. Also the deva being S rank you would think it is better and worth more by far. However given the sell price for the deva andViper being from psupedia and not my own experience this could be wrong.I would gladly adjust if someone showed me what its sell back price realy is.

Lastly here is a list of items that i would like to check their NPC sell back prices. If you own one and would be kinda enough to check its NPC sellback price for me and post it here,i would gladly do the math for its buy price.

Halarod
Gur Asted
Sweet death
huge cutter
svaltus sword

Cool that you figured it out, but the prices are rightfully high. Those ridiculously overpriced items can't be bought anywhere, other than off of other players who have, through hard work and dedication, found them (and buying such an item for such a price would require a lot of hard work and dedication to raise the money on your part). To have one of those rare weapons that can't be bought in shops is a status symbol, representing you as someone who has lots of experience and lots of money. If the weapons were in shops, everyone would have one, and those weapons would lose their positions as status symbols. Such rare items are part of what makes this game awesome.

Sorry for not contributing to your goal, but I felt it had to be said.

Nope thats all correct i had no illusions of what you said not being true. However i felt it was a nesecity to put this out there. Also this way maybe we can get those 10mil prices back down to reasonable ones.I mean 10 mil for a no element 10* weapon is ridiculous.I can understand a mil yeah 1.2 mil sure but 4-10 is outrageous.

Before the AotI compatibility update, weapons had a reselling rate of 15%. (The "six and two-thirds" to one ratio.) AotI now has a weapon reselling rate of 20%. (Five to one ratio.) The calculated NPC prices of weapons did not change.

Katsuno-zashi's 50,000 is 20% of 250,000. The calculated NPC price of normal 9* neutral weapons is 250,000.

Deva-zashi's calculated NPC price (normal 10* neutral weapon) is 270,000. Remember diminishing returns. At the farther ends, balanced increases are lesser, not greater.

Does anyone know the resale price of Terseline, Uranseline, Silvenia, Amethad, or Saffiad?

I initialy tried a 1/5 ratio and some of the weapons came out odd. However yes when rounded out it does work out that way quick nicely.

I can try to find the prices of those items also if i can ill let ya know.

Alas, it's been calculated and mentioned occasionally for the past year, though perhaps not here at PSOW
