Rares... Am I lucky or what.. :-)

I just ran through Forest VeryHard by myself online and I got 6--thats right six rare items..and not one of them from a rare monster...

Here is what I got:
from the dragon-Yamato
from a rappy-rappy's wing
from a booma-booma's right arm
from a gigobooma-gigobooma's right arm
from one of those big things that throw the fire(don't remember the name) i got a cure/poison
not sure which dropped this-i got a photon drop

Every time I play VH Forest/CavesI usually get 2 items a run when I play by myself.. I notice that when people play with me I don't get rares as much..

Does anyone else get this kinda luck or is it just me....YEAH....I like it...

Well, I just ran through VH Forest again and I got another Photon Drop... I like the luck I'm having tonight.. I probally won't see any rares for a few days because of it though LOL...

in Forest VH who decided to give me a rare Diska of Braveman.. to bad I all ready have one.. Man at this rate I don't think I am going to ever go to sleep.. Maybe I just won't turn off my GC..

Quick and easy kills, perfect for rare hunting.

On topic:

I had a run very similar to that the other day:

Yamato (dragon)
Rappy's Wing
Hildebear's Head (got two already, still nice though)
2xPhoton Drops
And saw a Hildeblue, didn't give me anything though.

Playing on V Hard when you are that high a level will insure high critical hits, making finding rares a lot easier.

Plus its fun to trounce the place within 5 minutes ^ ^

People may also want to replay Very Hard rather than Ultimate at very high levels for Rare Hunting. As some rares can easily be found or can only be found on creatures from Very Hard and down since most of the monsters change into different ones in Ultimate mode.

I wouldn't think a lvl 166 doing VHard would be wierd.... unless he said he did it for EXP.

There just isn't much in V-Hard Forest/Caves with a REDRIA id. The best I can think of is a God/Arm. Even from an experience point of view, it doesn't make sense.

As for the rares he found, they're common stuff.

That quite a good run you made there, 6 rares. Topped my best of 5 rares in one Ult forest run.

If I can remember correctly I had got- Lv 109 Redria btw

2 Photon Drops (boxes)
Diska of Braveman (bartles.. i think)
Kaladbolg (box)
Diska of Liberator (not sure)

I would agree, I find far more rares on hard and very hard. I found 2 elysions in hard, both xmas rappy's on hard, one xmas rappy on very hard and nothing on ultimate.

Hmmm...Well, I'm pretty new to G-Cube PSO. (was in Ultimate on DC ver. 2) However, I have found a few good items. (Although so far I'm only to V-Hard Caves...I'm working on it!)

1. Rappy's Wing (Found during "Letter from Lionel" quest)
2. Booma's Right Arm (Found on first run through Hard Forest.
3. Akiko's Frying Pan JUST KIDDING!
4. Elysion (Found in Hard Ruins while doing "Retired Hunter" quest, C. Bringer)
5. Twin Psycho Gun (First run through Hard Temple, Love Rappy)

On DC I had all sorts of great weapons...Guess I'll catch up sooner or later...

My best was a Ult Forest run on Viridia at level 120-something:

1) Meteor Smash
2) Final Impact
3) Meteor Smash
4) Guilty Light
5) Kaladbolg
6) Final Impact
7) Photon Drop

My lvl 59 Racaseal Pentium 9000 is a greeny so far I found two visk, two varistas, a double saber and flowen(but I think these were in other peoples games), a custom ray and I just found a cur/para off a rare poly in v. hard caves today
