Why would Sega want to give you chat-pad support when they (and BlueOrb) are perfectly content on selling you this little marvel?

If anyone has actually bought that with the intention of using it in game I will lol.

Apparently people actually *do* use that thing.

I dunno. I think I'll stick to keyboard. But I really need to get a wireless one. The keyboard's on the coffee table, and every once in awhile I'll trip over the wire. The 360 and the keyboard then engage in a fight of physics in which the 360 usually wins and the keyboard flies across the room. Thank God my TV's a CRT...

i would actually be ok if the letters worked and not the symbols. I have a wireless keyboard and thats fine, except that its prone to possible soda/snack spills and random pet speed bumpage. I have a dog that will roll around on it and a cat that runs across it at random times causing me to type out various nonsensical things. can someone atleast confirm limited compatibility for this device? That would be greatly appreciated.

You know it's actually easier and much faster to just use the forum search as opposed to posting "new" topics to find lots of stuff you need to know.

Actually, this the first topic about the chatpad to be post-fall update, so it's a valid question. A lot of people assumed the update would make the chatpad work with the major games it doesn't work with (FFXI and PSU)

Way back when, some Sega official board person (clumsyorchid) said they were going to try to negotiate a fix.

I'm sure they're working hard on it. I mean, hardly working on it. or something.

Any news on this? I guess I should've researched a bit before buying this. Typical.

Like i said it does work with FFXI now. except theres this weird thing where the symbols act as select so you have to press em a 2nd time....idk its hard to explain...

So does this work with PSU by some rare occurence? Or did the ffxi expansion make the chatpad compatible?

Everybody call M$!!! if we bug them enough I think that they will do something about it!

Im serious, I called them once about it and they said "microsoft is responsible for fixing such a problem" so all we need is to keep buggin' them about it.
