If you're going for optimising Newman damage, twin claws just because fists are the ultimate Beast weapon (low ATP and super-high ATA make their natural ATP advantage even more apparent). If you're going for looks, use the one that you like more.

Both have good skills, so the choice is pretty arbitrary.

I guess I'll take the claws since they look nicer and the damage is really agreeing with me.

I'd say the difference is Renzan vs. Robado. They both do similar things, except Renzan is quicker, easier on the MP, and more maneuverable, while Robado ends with a heavily damaging move.

If you're only going to get one, I'd say get claws. I overall like Renzan better, and newmans should be using claws anyway.

It's hard [i]not[i] to JA with claws. Not to mention it's incredibly easy to recover PP with them while still keeping up good damage. Really, I think they're my favorite weapons now.

How is the PP ammounts on the claws?

I think it's 3 PP per JA, but they add up really quickly, so I can't say for sure. To be fair, my fists recover 9 PP per JA, and recover 4 on the first hit, so they should be even.
