View Full Version : A PSU catastrophe! A sad day in the world.

So I'm in a nice group doing the White Beast quest. Getting some good drops and kicking some butt. While having a nice concersation we bring up candy. I tell them my favorite candy is Gummi Bears.

There is a silence. I get a "?" from one kid and another one just comes out and asks me, "Dude, whats a gummi bear?"

I'm so saddened by this. I just dont know how to take this. How can children not know what a gummi bear is? They cant be so poor they never had one because they are playing PSU! This just speaks so poorly about their parents. Hell, even ABOUT SOCIETY!

I know this might sound a little funny, because it is, But also it isnt. The thought of one of the greatest candies ever made not being known by children ...................... is uncivilized.

Still looking for the Bill de something or another S rank axe btw.

End of Line.

Reminds me of some guy here who didn't know what the Muppets were.

Ranks there with your gummi story. I think people are starting to come out of some secret cryo sleep.

Its like asking a child if they ever watched Mighty Morphin Power Rangers or the Ninja Turtles and they say no.

What the FUCK is wrong with this planet. The cartoons for children these days are just retarded and horrible. No mind stimulation or humor whatsoever.

KIDS THESE DAYS

Well, that there is your problem. Kids don't like tough/chewy candies anymore. They prefer their Wonka or Nestle or Mars brand candies, rather than the kind they can get from that candy shop on the corner of main street. Kids today are all about quick, cheap candy, no time for them to stop and pick their candy personally.

California ones are softer than German ones. With the California ones you can bite them and they almost melt apart, German ones require a little more chewing to break down.

Any thread that has a discussion of both Gummi Bears the candy and cartoons should realize this would be the natural progression.

Damn it, you're right. Now I just remembered how I want some of that Gummiberry juice.
