Basic Type max level?

Do basic types max at 10 still? When I get to Lv10 Hunter, for example, the bar continues to move as if it's counting up to 11. So do they go to 15 like other classes, or is it just pointless runoff?

Basic classes only go to 10.

Basic classes - Hunter, Ranger, Force are maxed at 10

I'm pretty sure this is a no, but your expert class stats aren't effected by the LEVEL of your basic job stats correct? For example, my RA is 7.. no reason to get it to 10 right? (don't bother mentioning GunMaster or w/e it is..)

I'm pretty sure that the type stats are completely independent of one another, but I have OCD and want to max out all three basics. That way, if I ever want to play a type on a whim, I can just switch.

I've heard that the basic classes can level up, but get no stat bonuses. So, technically, that would mean that the highest level would be 15 with them now, even though 10 does the same thing.

Yes, I'd also heard that Basic Classes can level to 15, but after 10 get no stat bonuses and thus it's pointless. Also, getting to 11 takes such a rediculous amount of MP...

Actually, I think it's more that the Acro-classes follow the same MP pattern as the basic classes. So, yes.
