another network mode question

ive never played online for psu only pso not a lot though but anyway i know you can be a hunter force and ranger on offline but what are people talking about like fortegunners and other stuff are they new classes for online and if so do you have to do something special like a quest or something to become one and whats the difference between them and whats better

To change classes you talk to the people on the 5th Floor of the Guardians Colony; Guardians HQ.

In order to switch classes you must have the requirement in the basic classes, Hunter, Ranger and Force. Different classes increase or decrease upon certain attributes. Fortegunners are masters in ranged weapons, so their ATA is the highest. ForteFighters are skilled in attack and defence. Fortetechers are unparalleled in the use of techs, so their MST and TP are high.

There is also hybrid classes that combine some of the skills of different classes, Fighgunner for example, is skilled in Ranged and Melee attacks.
