Are they good? Bad? Horrible? I need to know.

Personally I love cards. I have trouble aiming a handgun on a keyboard and the broad lock-on range really helps.

Plus being able to shoot up to six cards at once is really useful. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Well, with a 31+ PA. Two at level one, four at level two and six at level three.

Cards get higher damage, and handguns get slightly faster firing rate and SE3.

Well I did believe Im dealing a good amount of damage with high lvl cards until 1UP started... MAJARRA lol
...then again most weapons look weak next to majarra ^_^

Anyways if your class can use cards you should really try em, the elemental % is one of the highest, u hit 3 targets and the homing effect makes you barely ever miss. No need to go into 1st person to hit flying mobs, etc http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Well.
I'm an Acrofighter and I think cards are amazing. The damage is decent in lower levels and it just keeps getting better as you level up.
When mine went from 10 to 11, though, I only got three cards, not four. o_O

Ironically, my 3 most damaging things as a WT are: Vishi Grudda lv. 30, lv.14 fire cards, diga/foie.
I love my cards.

I'm trying hard to think of a skill that can't do 3000+ damage to its number of targets in the time of a single card volley as WT, and I can't think of any...

Anyway, cards have that nice homing ability, high accuracy, a decent firing rate, good range, great auto-targeting, and spread SEs about as well as a shotgun. Not the strongest of guns, but pretty good and balanced with everything else. I tend to think of them as the gun for people who can't use guns.

what have i missed on psu over night!!! We got people that can throw six cards at a time and in another topic a guy has a 42% light Vish Adan its crazy o.O what do i have to do to get this stuff...

Cards fit in nicely with AF/WT/FT lack of worthwhile guns (pistol is NOT worthwhile) and are really nice for irritating enemies you'd rather stay away from (Komalzi, Jarba) and flying enemies. That's about the only time you'll have a use for them though.

?!? OK being a GT with 35+ arts on my cards - the magic number is still 3. 3 Cards fire with each swing...no more. Yes the same goes for the S-class kikami. Though a little slower than duals I still love em and have a pallet of 6... Not 6 blades that fire lol

When it comes to cards, there is no better ranged weapon for me (rather than bow for lost distance reasons and auto shooting from my shadoog and even that is disappointing http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif ) But cards rock. I have lv 11 ground element on my low A rank cards and it helps me in a pinch when fighting flamethrowing Varda's while healing my teammates (WT btw). So I'd recommend using them whenever you can.
