Something I noticed about Grinder [b]'s

When you synth Grinders, do all 5 per board and don't leave anything left over.

I've done 3 then 2 many, many times since AOI and noticed if you don't synth all 5 on a board, the rest when they synth will never go past +4. Only the first synth out of 5 on one {b] will do +1 through +10. People will think twice about using odd leftover S grinders that don't add up to 5.

try it if you don't believe me. I'm not sure if it's a glitch since Sega greatly nerfed the difficulty of synthing +10 Grinders in AOI.

Its just luck actually. (An interview back then with ST did make mention that synthing all 5 grinders at once will give you a better chance at high rank grinders, but I don't think anyone has really noticed a difference)

They were on different boards actually. I had about 120 something grinder base S's, and had a last board with one left over (I only used 4). That's the one that gave me the +8. The +10 one came from clearing up space so I bought another board and used up the ones on my alt which gave me a bunch of low ones. I've 100's of [b]'s on 2nd tries, and none ever came out high, while the first try only has only ever gave me high grinders. I have like 50 A+10's on me BTW.

Let me go deeper here.............

Right now as I post this I bought 10 Grinder B [b]'s, and will do 3 and 2 of each one of the 10 [B]'s. I'll give the results.

Board 1, 3 +10's on 1st try, 2 +2's on 2nd try

Board 2, 3 +7's on 1st try, 2 +2's on 2nd try

Board 3, 3 +5's on 1st try, 2 +3's on 2nd try

Board 4, 3 +10's on 1st try, 2 +3's on 2nd try

Board 5, 3 +3's on 1st try, 2 +3's on 2nd try

Board 6, 3 +6's on 1st try, 2 +2's on 2nd try

Board 7, 3 +10's on 1st try, 2 +1's on 2nd try

Board 8, 3 +8's on 1st try, 2 +3's on 2nd try

Board 9, 3 +5's on 1st try, 2 +3's on 2nd try

Board 10, 3 +2's on 1st try, 2 +2's on 2nd try,

I got +10 3 times on 1st try and nothing over +3's for 2nd try. I don't call that unlucky .

I had 29 S+10's from the first day/batch, and then used em all up. Then made another 55 or so +10's, sold/traded most of em. >_>

Raine had me do the same thing, except I only used 6 boards and with each board made 4 grinders then finished them off with 1. The results...

First Try (4 grinders), Second Try (1 grinder)
Board 1: +5, +2
Board 2: +6, +1
Board 3: +4, +2
Board 4: +4, +3
Board 5: +3, +1
Board 6: +8, +2

The second try's grinder on each bord was ALWAYS lower than the first try's grinders on the same board---and also less than +5.

I've definitely made 2/3 combos on same board and come out with +10s...

I have made a single batch of S+10s (one board)

My third try was a +9. I don't remember the others.
