Are there any items that can only be obtained through synthesis failure?

I believe the Mimic Doll and the Gardon Gnome are the only two available ONLY from a failed synth.

Possibly. I know of a few people who were selling these items for a good amount of meseta upon release of AotI. I would assume that the prices have dropped by now, considering most people know how to obtain these items if they want them badly enough.
