Problem: My friend has a character on my memory card and has PSO + Mem. card (now, anyway. Not before) He ants to transfer his character to his memory card. Is there a way to transfer his cahracter to his mem. card or no?

Unfortunately, no. Once a character has been created, it is on that memory card for good. Even though you can transfer characters temporarily for multiplayer games, that is not a full transfer, and it will not do what you want. That character is on that memory card permanently.
